George Robert Dunn has been practicing law since 1986. He is admitted to practice in Minnesota, Massachusetts, New York, and Federal District Court for the District of Minnesota. His practice primarily centers on personal injury matters, with a focus on cases involving serious injury or wrongful death as the result of medical negligence, automobile collision, or product liability. He also handles matters of criminal defense and contract disputes. In addition to his litigation practice, George has maintained a practice in wills and trusts and employment matters. George understands that it is fundamental to the practice of law that the attorney listen to clients and is able to understand a client’s concerns and needs. Michael Gross joined the Tilton & Dunn law firm in September 2000 as an associate attorney. From 1992 to 2000, Mike worked as a claims representative and claims supervisor for an Illinois insurance company that provided professional liability (medical malpractice) claims and risk management services for hospitals and physicians in Illinois. From September 2000 to present, Mike has continued to specialize in medical-legal issues, primarily working with Bill & with George in representing injured patients and their families on medical negligence, nursing home negligence, and wrongful death claims. Mike grew up in a large, close-knit Minnesota family. He graduated from Burnsville Senior High School in 1986 and from St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota, in 1990, with honors. He received his law degree in 1997 from Northern Illinois University College of Law, where he was an Associate Articles Editor for the Northern Illinous University Law Review and graduated magna cum laude. Mike resides in St. Paul’s Highland Park with his wife, son, and daughter.

  Karen Mandelbaum joined the law firm of Tilton & Dunn in January 2006. Before becoming an attorney, Karen worked for a software developer serving the healthcare industry, providing consulting services to healthcare providers during the tumultuous years of health system consolidation and integration. Karen received her undergraduate degree in History from the University of Minnesota and earned her law degree in 2005 from William Mitchell College of Law. In addition, Karen holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management. Karen worked in the Law and Health Policy department of the Midwest Medical Insurance Company before joining Tilton & Dunn. Karen’s understanding of medicine and the healthcare industry brings a unique prospective to her work at Tilton & Dunn, where she primarily works with the other attorneys in representing injured patients and their families in medical negligence and wrongful death claims. Karen recently co-authored an article entitled “Can the National Health Information Network Reduce the Cost of Healthcare Fraud?”, published in The Journal of Health Information Management, Summer 2008. Karen and her family are members of Cong. Bais Yisroel and she is active in the Minneapolis Jewish Community, serving on the steering committee of the Jewish Domestic Abuse Coalition. Karen lives in St. Louis Park with her husband and four children.
  Office Manager Kelly Moreno began at Tilton & Dunn in 1994. She had previously earned her Legal Secretary Certification from Dakota County Technical Institute and Legal Assistant Certification from Inver Hills Community College. Kelly admires and is proud of the dedication, professionalism and family feel of this close-knit law firm. She is a proud mother of three and grandmother to two handsome grandsons, a dedicated gardener and an unabashed afficionado of live music from the likes of Tom Petty and Ozzy Ozborne. And, not only is Kelly is a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, we believe she’s still as tough as the day she finished basic training.
